Thank you!
My passion for storytelling and creativity was shaped by an unconventional upbringing—growing up in a home that doubled as a bed-and-breakfast for traveling musicians, giving up my bed for lead singers, and collecting signatures on our pantry door from artists like Folk Soul Revival and Hayes Carll. At 13, I found myself on stage in a bar, playing guitar with a local band—an early testament to my belief in embracing new experiences.
That same adventurous spirit defines my approach to creativity. I don’t just play acoustic guitar; I explore electric and ukulele. I don’t just drive a car; I ride motorcycles. From longboarding to wakeboarding and snowboarding, I push boundaries in both my personal and professional life, always seeking fresh perspectives.
My career path reflects this mindset. Initially drawn to physics, a single journalism class led me to pursue a BA in Public Relations and Advertising from the UNC Hussman School of Media and Journalism, with a minor in Creative Writing. That curiosity drove me to explore poetry, sketch comedy, and ultimately, art direction—where I help brands tell bold, visually compelling stories.
I believe growth comes from stepping outside the familiar. Let’s push boundaries and create something extraordinary together.
